How to Check to See If an Office Product Key Has Been Used
If you have multiple copies of the Microsoft Office suite in your house and can't remember which product key you used with each computer, then you will have to download a third-party product key retrieval tool to find out. It's not possible to check remotely with the Microsoft activation server which keys have been activated or used, and which haven't. Run a retrieval tool on a computer with Office installed. The program will then show you which installation keys have been used.
