Most major chocolate companies allow you to place an order online, which they will send as a gift to the recipient you designate. You can also choose to purchase the chocolate and send it yourself. Research the brand of chocolate that you wish to send as a gift. Chocolate.com, Godiva, The Chocolate Shoppe Ultimate, Ghirardelli, Lindt, Fannie May, and others all accept online orders. Links to all of these sites are listed in Resources.

Select the specific chocolate items that you want to send and click on "Add to Cart."

Click on "Check Out" after putting all the items you want to send in your cart.

Fill in your billing information when prompted at "Check Out." If paying with a credit card, this information must be the same as what is linked to the credit card with which you purchase the chocolates.

Select your method of payment when prompted and enter any pertinent information such as credit card number and expiration date. Most companies will accept credit cards or Paypal.

Fill in the shipping address when prompted. Use the recipient's address so that the company sends the chocolates directly to the person you are gifting rather than you.
