How to Create Tri-Fold Brochures

How to Create Tri-Fold Brochures thumbnail
A brochure is still an effective way to communicate with customers.

In the age of the Internet, brochures might seem like an old-fashioned way to get your message across, but brochures have certain advantages over more sophisticated media. For example, a simple tri-fold brochure is something that potential customers can take with them and reference later. In addition, brochures tend to have a more personal feel that digital media often cannot convey.

Instructions

    • 1

Choose the information and images that you want to include in your brochure. Although a tri-fold brochure has six sections, you are in fact printing two pages with three sections each. The front of the page will be the inside of the brochure, with sections two, three and four, while the back of the page will have sections one, five and six.

    • 2

Assemble your brochure layout, taping the images and printed text where you want then in each section. For example, since the first section is the cover page of your brochure, this is where you would have your main image, title and introductory text. The second section would begin the main body of your text, along with any further images or charts. The last section, which is also the last page of the brochure, should have copyright and contact information.

Take the assembled product, along with all of your materials and images, to a professional printer and have her convert your ideas to a final professional brochure you can distribute to potential customers.
