Wind chimes are used in Feng Shui to change energy flow.

Hanging wind chimes is simple way to add life to your porch or doorway. Wind chimes can be made of various materials, most commonly metal or wood. As the hollow tubes of the the wind chimes blow in the wind, they strike against each other, creating what many people find to be a pleasant sound. The different sizes of each tube determines the pitch it produces, and most wind chimes are tuned so that the sounds blend well together. Does this Spark an idea?

      Select an area on your porch or near a window that gets good airflow.

      Find a specific place from which to suspend the wind chimes. Hanging them from a beam on the top part of a deck works well. If there is no preexisting feature from which to hang your wind chimes, install a small hook using hardware or even adhesive.

      Hang the wind chimes from the hook or beam by the string on the top, and let them blow in the wind.
