Krups Egg Express Instructions


Eggs are a good source of protein for breakfast. Fortunately, there are appliances designed to take the guesswork out of preparing eggs properly. The Krups Egg Express egg cooker cooks up to seven eggs. The eggs can be boiled, poached or made into individual omelets. The appliance features a cooking timer and eggs can be kept warm after cooking. Components are removable, easy to clean and dishwasher safe. An egg piercer and measuring cup are included for convenience.

Things You'll Need

  • Eggs
  • Water
  • Omelet filling ingredients (optional)
  • Krups Egg Express
  • Power outlet
  • Dish liquid
  • Dishcloth or sponge

Preparing to Cook

  • Fill the measuring cup with water. Fill it to the mark that indicates the amount of doneness and the number of eggs to be cooked.

  • Pour the water into the cooking dish.

  • Follow the instructions in either Boiling Eggs or Poaching Eggs or Making Omelets.

  • Put the egg holder into the cooking dish.

  • Grease the poaching containers.

  • Add one egg to each container. If making omelets, also add the omelet filling.

  • Place the containers into the egg holder.

  • Follow the instructions in Cooking the Eggs

Cooking the Eggs

  • Cover the cooking dish with the lid.

  • Turn the knob to the Cooking position. A bell will sound when cooking has completed.

  • Turn the knob to the Off position.

  • Remove the egg holder, using oven mitts.


  • Disconnect the appliance from the power source.

  • Let the appliance cool completely.

  • Clean the cooking dish with a damp cloth.

  • Clean the lid, egg holder and containers using dish liquid and rinse thoroughly.

  • Dry all components completely.

Tips & Warnings

  • Clean all components before using the appliance for the first time.
  • Keep eggs warm by turning the knob to the Keep Warm setting when cooking has completed.
  • Run cold water over the egg holder after boiling eggs, to cool them quickly.
  • Refer to the user manual for detailed safety instructions.
  • Always use oven mitts to remove containers from the egg holder.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaning supplies or the product will become damaged.
