How to Remove Pine Sap From Tinted Windows
Window tint films are generally applied to the inside of a car's side and rear windows. A scratch-resistant hard coat may or may not be applied over this tinted film. Sharp scraping tools should never be used to remove pine sap from either the inside or outside of a window. The sharp edges can scratch the film or the glass. Consider removing pine sap from tinted windows with a mild solvent. The solvent dissolves the sap without damaging the polyester-based window tint. Does this Spark an idea?
