How to Get iTunes to Search for Audio Files on a Computer
Copy audio files from you computer to your Apple iPod using iTunes software. This free, downloadable software is customized to interface effectively with all different models of the iPod, but you must do a small amount of work prior to syncing the songs on your computer with your device. You must add the audio files on your computer to the iTunes library before syncing the songs to the iPod. Search for all of the audio files on your computer at one time.
