Add the flavor of onions to your recipes without the pungency of fresh onions. Dehydrated onions will not make you cry when you use them in your recipes. Removing the water from the onions increases their shelf-life up to two years. Since the dried onions' weight is reduced after removing the water, dehydrated onions are an ideal option to carry on camping trips or to keep in an emergency food supply. Look for dehydrated onions in the spice section of most grocery stores and in camping stores. Does this Spark an idea?
