Reality TV has evolved to include feel-good family programming. Some shows still focus on hard-hitting issues and drama, but HGTV’s Curb Appeal awards deserving families across the nation with $20,000 home makeovers. The show’s producers seek families with interesting stories to tell, and dilapidated homes to prove they are in need of assistance.

  • Photos
  • Homeowner Bio
  • Email Access

Stand at the curb, and take several photos of your home. Include the residents of the home in at least one of the photos.

Create a short, homeowner bio consisting of names, occupations and cell phone numbers. Include the address of the property, and explain what makes it the eyesore of the neighborhood.

Email the photos and bio to the proper address (see "References") to complete the application. Applicants must live in single-family dwellings; condos and townhomes are not acceptable.
