How to Format Links in PRWeb

Press releases can produce Web traffic and are valuable sources of links to your website. The former may result in an increase in sales and the latter will improve your search-engine rank on a potentially exponential level. To take advantage of this, you must know how to format links for PRWeb and similar services. PRWeb is one of the premier press-release websites on the Internet. It is linked to a large network of press agencies and will distribute to major news agencies on your behalf. It allows you one link for every 100 words in your press release.

Instructions

    • 1

Visit the PRWeb website (see "Resources" below) and log into your account.

    • 2

Enter the text of a press release in the "Body Text" area.

    • 3

Type the full URL for your link where you want the link to appear in the press release. For example, you must type "http://www.google.com" (without the quotes).

    • 5

Click the "Preview" button to verify that the text and the link appear correctly.

    • 6

Click the "Submit" button and follow the on-screen instructions to submit the press release.
