How to Send Songs Through Text Messages for Free

Text your friends songs for free.

Over the Internet you can send an email to a text message in-box for free with any cell phone provider. The recipient may be charged through his phone's standard rates, but such a message is free to send from any email account. Before sending a song for free through email, you must know the person's phone number and cell phone provider. You cannot send the email without this information.

Instructions

1. Open your email account on the computer, logging in using your user name and password.

2. Open a new email message.

3. Type the recipient's cell phone number followed by "@" and the corresponding service email address.

   For example:

   Sprint [e-mail]

   Verizon [e-mail]

   T-Mobile [e-mail]

   AT&T [e-mail]

4. Type a subject of the email such as the song title and artist.

5. Select "Attach File" (or similar wording) and select the song from your music folder. Click "OK" and wait for the file to attach.

6. Click "Send" and the song will be texted to the recipient. A link will appear he must follow to download.
