How to Prevent Smog on a Window
Smog is a type of pollution in the air which builds up and looks like a dark cloud. The smog has many chemicals in it which are either invisible or visible in the form of tiny particles which fill the air with dark color. Smog buildup on a window makes the window dirty and eventually makes the room darker. Preventing the build up smog particles leaves the window clear and prevents the gouging or pitted appearance that sometimes occurs due to the smog. Does this Spark an idea?

Rinse the window with plain water to remove any noticeable smog build up.

Spray the window with a window cleaning agent. Use a cleaner that's considered "green" because it does not have the harmful chemicals which add to the chemicals in the air.

Wipe the windows down with a dry cloth. Continue wiping until all of the cleaner and water is gone and the window is dry and clear.

Clean the windows every two or three days. This will prevent buildup from smog. If the area is prone to heavy smog, clean it during the morning hours when the ozone is at a lower level.

The best way to prevent smog on the window is to lower the amount of smog in the air. There are a few ways to lower smog emissions in the air, such as carpooling whenever it is possible or doing all of the errands for a week on one day at the same time. This will reduce driving and lower smog levels over time, especially when friends and family get involved and do the same.
