- Pipe cleaner, 10 inches
- Assorted embellishments (optional)
Instructions

-
1
Lay a sheet of 8-by-11-inch tissue paper, in the color of your choice, on a flat work surface. Traditional Easter lilies are white, but getting creative with colors is part of the fun of this craft.
-
2
Place a star stencil that's no more than 3-by-3 inches in the center of the tissue paper.
-
-
3
Trace the star shape onto the tissue paper with a pencil, then cut it out.
-
4
Put your index finger on the surface of the paper star in the very center of the design. Fold the star around your finger by pulling the cut-out upward around it. Pinch the bowed-out bottom of the part that your finger is on from beneath, using your other hand. Remove your index finger from the center of the star, leaving the points folded upward.
-
5
Wrap 1 inch of the end of a pipe cleaner around the rounded bottom of the folded star cut-out, leaving the points aiming upward. Pull the remaining 9 inches of the pipe cleaner downward to straighten it out like a stem. This completes the foundation of the lily flower craft.
-
6
Shorten the stem, if desired, by snipping it with scissors. Also if desired, add embellishments of your choice, such as spray glitter, to your Easter lily.
