Put on rubber gloves to protect your skin.
Add a gallon of water to a large bucket, and pour in 1 cup of bleach.
Dip a sponge into the bleach mixture, and use it to cover the area infected with black mold. It will take 15 minutes for the bleach solution to kill the mold. Add more solution if it dries before 15 minutes are up.
Scrub the area vigorously with a scrubbing pad.
Rinse the area with a clean sponge soaked in plain water. Dry the area with clean towels.
