How to Change My User Name in iStockphoto

The website iStockphoto is an online photo sharing community that allows contributors to set up accounts and upload a variety of images. Those who want to use an image that has been uploaded must pay a fee to the person who originally uploaded the image. While creating a user name is fairly simple to do online, you cannot simply log in and change the user name if you hope to change the name.

Instructions

1. Visit the iStockphoto "Contact" page. (See Resources)

2. Click the radio button next to "Contributor Relations" and click "Create a Support Ticket."

3. Enter the requested information into the form on the next page. In the "Issue/Question" field, type that you want to change your user name and type the new user name that you want.

4. Click "Send." IStockphoto will notify you when the change has been made.
