How to Check Your Military Star Card
Issued by the Army/Air Force Exchange Service, the Military Star Card is a credit card only accepted for use at AAFES locations. AAFES locations include Post Exchange, Base Exchange, Navy Exchange and Marine Corps Exchange stores, Military Clothing and Sales, Class 6 Stores and Military Furniture Stores. Most food vendors and other businesses located on military installations also accept the Star Card. The amount of credit extended to you depends on your credit history and military rank. The card is only available to service members and Department of Defense employees, their spouses and other dependents.

Visit AAFES.com to check your Military Star Card online.

Type your username and password into the AAFES site. Click the button labeled "Log-in."

Find the tab labeled "Special Services/Programs" along the top navigation bar. Allow your mouse to hover over the tab. When the drop-down menu appears, click "Military Star."

Click the button labeled "Account Login" in the popup window that appears.

Enter your Military Star Card number in the box and click "Log In." Enter your passcode on the next screen.

Click the appropriate button relating to your needs. Choose between "Check Balance," "Apply Now" and "Make Payment." Each button opens a new screen and will enable you to check your balance, apply for different lines of credit and make payments on your Military Star Card balance.

Call the Military Star Card call center at (877) 891-7827.

Enter your account number using a touch-tone keypad when prompted. If the system is unable to decipher the numbers you are entering, you will be transferred to a live operator.

Enter your passcode when prompted.

Press "4" on your touch-tone phone to check your account balance.
