How to Build a Stuart Little House
In the movie Stuart Little, Stuart the mouse has his own private space made to resemble his very own home, set on the top of his big brother's bunk bed. You can re-create a Stuart Little house if you are willing to invest the time looking for the miniatures that double as real-life furniture for this smaller-than-average character.

1
Purchase a set for your Stuart Little house. If you want an exact replica, look into purchasing a tray with a short railing. Otherwise, you can purchase a doll house either online or for a cost-effective route, through a thrift store.
-
2
Collect the pieces from the ground up: start with a couple small area rugs that you can make on your own through knitting or crochet. Consult still photographs of the film to duplicate the exact home.

3
Purchase small miniature toys. A wagon, an airplane, and a tiny firetruck are all featured in Stuart's home. Then purchase a dresser, a desk with chair, small highboy dresser, a four-post bed, and the tiny bed linens. Look through online auctions for the best deals and easiest shopping.
-
4
Assemble all your pieces. Remember that the tiny pieces are delicate and need to be handled with care.

Tips & Warnings
Many times thrift stores will include small doll house items and miniatures in plastic baggies that can be found in the toy section. Sort through these for some money-saving treasures in building your Stuart Little house.
A model of this sort is not intentioned for habitation by a real mouse.
