How to Get a Brochure in Full Color
Brochures are great ways to promote an event or a business or an organization. Brochures provide potential customers with product details, photos, pricing and contact information. You can also use brochures to bring traffic to your Web properties. Regardless of their use, brochures should be printed in color (as opposed to black and white) to attract more people, and and add production value. Microsoft Office Publisher offers various tools to print a brochure in full color. Follow certain techniques if your printouts do not reflect all the colors used in the brochure.

Click the Start menu, and point to "All Programs." Click "Microsoft Office," and then "Microsoft Office Publisher."

Open the brochure that you wish to print in full color.

Click the "Tools," and point to "Commercial Printing Tools." Click "Color Printing." Click the "Inks" tab. Click "New Ink." Single-click to choose a spot-color that has been missing previously. Click "OK."

Use a USB cable to connect your color printer to one of the open USB ports on your computer. Wait for a few seconds until Windows installs the necessary drivers for the printer. Your will receive a confirmation that your printer is recognized and ready for use.

Click the "File" tab, and choose "Print." Single-click to choose the color printer. Click "Print."

You may also use Adobe Pagemaker CS5, Adobe InDesign and Quark XPress to design color brochures. These software offer free trial downloads.
