How to Get Rid of a Bird's Nest Above a Light
Birds sometimes build their nests in areas that are unsafe for them or a nuisance for the homeowner. Nests near doorways or near house lights can cause a risk for the bird due to human activity and changing light levels causing the bird to spook. Bird nesting materials can be flammable and this would pose a fire risk if set over a light that heats up. Removing empty bird nests is quick and simple with the added goal of preventing further nests from being constructed. Never remove nests with eggs or chicks. Never relocate nests unless under the guidance of a licensed wildlife rescuer. Birds and their actively used nests are protected by law. Does this Spark an idea?
