How to Make Household Cleaner with Vodka
If you're looking for an eco-friendly cleaner that can be used on most everything, the answer is as close as your liquor cabinet. Vodka can be used as a cleaning agent straight out of the bottle; however, by mixing it with some other ingredients, you can create a more effective all-purpose solution. Things You'll Need
- Large spray bottle
- Funnel
- Measuring spoons
- Dishwashing liquid
- Vodka
- Lavender essential oil
- Niaouli essential oil
- Lemon myrtle essential oil
- Oregano essential oil
- Distilled water

Remove the sprayer cap from the bottle. Place the funnel in the neck.

Add the following to the spray bottle: 1 Tbsp. of dishwashing liquid; 2 Tbsp. of vodka; 1 tsp. each of lavender, niaouli, lemon myrtle and oregano essential oils; and 1 qt. of distilled water.

Screw the sprayer cap on tightly.

Shake the bottle until the ingredients are well mixed.

Tips & Warnings
Save the expensive vodka for drinking. Use cheap vodka to make this household cleaner.
Essential oils are highly concentrated. You can find them at local health food stores or order them from the Internet.
Test this vodka cleaner on surfaces by spraying it on an inconspicuous area first.
