You can set up sharing permissions for folders and files in Outlook 2003.

When you set up a new email account in the Microsoft Outlook 2003, all of your mailbox subfolders are displayed on the left side of the window, which you can use to store messages and files. You can also set sharing permissions for each folder and give certain individuals in your organization access to the data. Outlook 2003 also lets you specify what level of access the other individuals will have.

      Launch the Outlook 2003 program on your PC computer.

      Go to the "Mail" tab in the lower-left corner of the main Outlook window.

      Click on the plus sign next to the name of your email account in the "All Mail Folders" list on the left side of the window. This will expand a list of all the folders and files stored in your mailbox.

      Right-click on the folder or file that you want to share and choose "Properties."

      Go to the "Permissions" tab at the top of the pop-up window.

      Click on the "Add" button.

      Highlight the name of the individual you want to share the folder or file with or enter the person's username at the top of the window. Then click "OK."

      Open the "Permission Level" drop-down menu and select what type of access the person should have to your folder or file.

      Press the "OK" or "Apply" button to save the settings and enable sharing for the selected folder or file.
