How to Put Pictures Together Using Paint thumbnail
Nearly all computers are equipped with Microsoft Paint.

Combining two photos into one is a simple photo editing task, but it can seem daunting without sophisticated software. If you are simply trying to beat the photo limits on an Ebay listing or want two photos as your computer background, you will want to do this without buying expensive software. Fortunately, most computers come already equipped with Microsoft Paint. Most people are unaware that this program can perform many of the basic tasks that far more sophisticated editing software performs.

Instructions

    • 1

Select "Edit" from the toolbar in Paint, then select "Paste from" from the bottom of the drop-down menu.

    • 2

Select the first picture you want to add to the document from your computer files when the "Paste from" panel loads.

    • 3

Place your cursor on the corner of the photo and drag it toward the photo's center to shrink the picture to the desired size. Make sure the photo is the correct size before moving on. You will not be able to adjust the size later.

    • 4

Place the cursor over the photo and click to move it to the desired area. Make room for your second photo at this time. The first photo cannot be moved after this step.

    • 5

Select "Edit" from the toolbar, then "Paste from." Select your second photo from the "Paste from" panel.

    • 6

Click on the center of the second photo and drag it to the empty space.

    • 7

Drag the corner of the second photo toward its center to resize the image to fit the empty space.

    • 8

Select "File" from the toolbar, then select "Save" from the drop-down menu. Save the photo combination as a .jpg file.
