How to Change Your IP for Rapidfire, Mediashare or Megaupload
Your IP address identifies your computer on a network. The server can identify your location based upon your IP address. Microsoft Windows 7 allows you to change your IP address by following some basic instructions. Luckily, changing your IP address in Windows 7 will change your IP address for all purposes. Thus, you can change your IP address for Rapidfire, Mediashare and Megaupload simultaneously by changing your IP address directly inside of Microsoft Windows 7.

Click "Start." Go to "All Programs." Click "Accessories."

Right click the "Command Prompt." Click "Run as Administrator."

Type "ipconfig/release" followed by "ipconfig/renew" into the prompt. Hit "Enter." This will create a new IP address for your computer.
