How to Highlight Text in Adobe Standard

Adobe Acrobat Standard is a popular PDF (Portable Document Format) writing program. Standard users may choose from a variety of PDF editing features. Objects may be added, such as text boxes and shapes. Text within the PDF may be edited in a variety of ways, such as underlining and highlighting it. You can highlight text in Adobe Standard by following a few steps.

Instructions

1. Open the document that contains the text that you want to highlight. While the following steps refer to Adobe Acrobat Standard, the same process will apply to Pro and Pro Extended.

2. Click the "Tools" dropdown menu and highlight the "Comment & Markups" option to display a list of available options. Click the "Highlight Text" option.

3. Click once at the beginning of the section of text that you want to highlight and drag to the end of the section while holding down the mouse button. Repeat this process for each section of text that you want to highlight.
