Go to the Alaska Airlines reward reservation tool.

Enter your desired departure and destination cities in the appropriate fields. Enter your desired departure and return dates, the number of travelers and your preferred class of service. Click the blue "Start Shopping" button.

Select the "I Want to Use Miles to Receive Up to 50% Off the Lowest Price" option, or select the "I Want to Use Miles to Receive Up to 50% Off Unrestricted Fares." If you choose the unrestricted fare option, your results will generally return more expensive, are fully refundable and have no associated change fees. Click the blue "Continue" button.

Select your desired flights. Each available flight will show you the miles and price required for that flight segment.

Enter your Mileage Plan frequent flyer number and password and click the "Submit" button.

Enter the requested information about the passengers including the full name of all passengers as it appears on their government issued ID. Enter the requested payment information including your credit card number and billing address. Click the "Submit" button. Confirm your flights and information and click "Purchase" to complete your purchase and book your tickets.

The money and miles award option is only available on flights operated by Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air. The maximum discount is $100 for 10,000 miles or $200 off for 20,000 miles.
