How to Sync Skype With a Contact Book
With Skype, you can connect with people all over the world through instant messaging, voice chat and video conferencing. You can talk to people one-on-one or in a group. Before communicating with someone, you need to first add that person as a contact in your Skype account. If you are new to Skype, you can start adding contacts to Skype by syncing your email contact book with Skype.

Log in to your Skype account.

Click the "Contacts" menu and select "Import Contacts." Select your email service. If you do not see it, check the drop-down menu for more services and options.

Type your email username and password into the designated fields.

Click "Import."

Check the boxes next to the people in your email contact book to add to Skype.

Click "Add Contacts." Skype will automatically add the people in your list that have Skype accounts associated with the email address in your contact book. For other people, you have the option to send them an email message inviting them to Skype.
