How to Make Delphinium Bouquets
The delphinium flower is a bud that grows almost like a cone or column, with small flowers that grow in various shades of blue, from light to dark. You can arrange the delphinium into a beautiful bouquet that looks as if it came from a professional florist's shop. Using just a few basic materials, the bouquet will be a sophisticated and elegant arrangement for your home or can be given to a friend as a hostess gift.

1
Snip the ends off each delphinium stem, cutting at a 45-degree angle.
-
2
Place the stems in a vase of water for at least 60 minutes to keep the buds perked up.
-
-
3
Hold the stems together in a bunch, tying them together with a rubber band at the top of the stems where the stem meets the bud.
-
4
Soak a paper towel in water and wrap it around the ends of the stems to keep them hydrated.
-
5
Wrap a piece of aluminum foil around the paper towel to keep it in place.
-
6
Tie a blue ribbon around the rubber band to conceal the rubber band. The blue ribbon will tie in nicely with the color of the delphinium.
