How Can I Tell If My Computer Has Empty Slots for More RAM?

Random access memory (RAM) is the computer hardware responsible for loading data that is then sent back and forth to the central processing unit. Each computer typically comes with one or two memory slots filled with memory and one or two expansion slots. To view your computer's available slots, you must open the computer, find the current memory and identify any empty slots.
