How to Upload a Video to Flickr on Mac OSX
Flickr has a long-standing reputation for being one of the most popular photo-sharing sites online, attracting even the attention of Getty Images. In 2008, Flickr upped its service and added video support, allowing users to upload, host and view videos online. Flickr offers free and paid accounts, with free accounts having a limit on the quantity of photo and videos that you can upload. You can upload video to your Flickr account directly through the website or through the Flickr Uploadr desktop client on Mac OS X.

Navigate to Flickr's website and click the "Sign in" link in the upper-right corner to log in to your account. If you don't have a Flickr account, click the "Create Your Account" button on the homepage and follow the setup steps.

Click the "Upload" link on your Flickr homepage. Then click, "Choose photos and videos." Select the video you want to upload from your computer. Flickr limits uploads to videos that are 90 seconds in length or less, with a maximum file size of 150 megabytes.

Click the "Add More" link to upload more than one video at a time. Keep in mind that if you upload multiple videos at once, you might experience longer upload times depending on your Internet connection.

Set your privacy levels. Click the "Private" button to hide your video or only share it with family and friends. Click the "Public" button to make your video public. Public videos can be seen by anyone, including people who do not have Flickr accounts.

Click the "Upload Photos and Videos" button. After your upload is complete, you can add a description and tags, or add your video to a set.

Navigate to Flickr's website and sign in to your account. Click the "Upload" link on your Flickr homepage and scroll to the bottom of the "Upload" page. Click the "Flickr Tools page" link.

Click the link to download Flickr Uploadr for Mac OS X. Double-click the zip-file icon to mount the disk-image, then drag the application icon and drop it into your "Applications" folder to install.

Open Flickr Uploader and click the "Sign in" button. Authorize Flickr Uploadr to access your Flickr account when prompted by the application.

Click the "+Add" button and select the video or videos from your computer that you want to upload to Flickr. You can also drag and drop videos into the Flickr Uploadr application window.

Use the fields in the right column of the application window to add a title, description and tags to your video. You can also add your video to an existing set or create a new set. Select your privacy settings, safety level and media type. Press the "Upload" button to upload your video to your Flickr profile.
