How do I Prevent Firefox Proxies?
Firefox allows you the option of connecting to the Internet via a proxy server, which provides the benefit of surfing websites anonymously. If you have a proxy server configured to work with Firefox, you can prevent Firefox from using it by Firefox configuring the connection settings to connect directly to the Internet. However, preventing Firefox from using the proxy server will allow websites to see your real IP address.
