Open a Web browser. Navigate to your video card manufacturer's website. If you are uncertain what video card you have on your system, you can check the model in the Device Manager. Click "Start," then "Control Panel." Click "System and Security" in Control Panel. Click "Administrative Tools," then "Computer Management." Click "Device Manager" in the Computer Management sidebar. Expand the "Display Adapters" entry in Device Manager. Your video card displays here, with the model and manufacturer.

Navigate to the Support or Downloads section of your manufacturer's website. Choose your operating system, whether you're using a 32- or 64-bit operating system and your specific video card. Confirm your choices to search for updated drivers.

Download the file to a location you can easily remember, such as your Downloads folder. Double-click the file once the download is complete.
