Log in to your Facebook account with your user name and password.

Click on the "Chat" button at the bottom right of the profile page. Look for the friend whose chat history you wish to retrieve. If they are not online, you cannot read the chat history.

Click on the friend's name. You should be able to see the chat history displayed.
