How to Clean the Shower Using Vinegar

Clean your shower with diluted vinegar.

White vinegar is an effective household cleaning product. It cleans, removes odor and kills bacteria simultaneously. It also tackles mildew, making it a perfect shower cleaner. To properly use the vinegar, dilute it to lessen its acidic nature and prevent it from damaging certain shower surfaces. Do not worry: Even diluted, vinegar is strong enough to use as a cleaner and disinfectant.

Things You'll Need

• Spray bottle
• White vinegar
• Dish soap
• Cleaning rags

Instructions

1. Fill a spray bottle with 3 cups water, 1 cup white vinegar and a squirt of dish soap. The dish soap helps to cut through soap scum and residue from lotions and oils.

2. Spray the mixture onto your shower surface and scrub with a wet cleaning rag.

3. Dry your shower with a clean rag for a streak-free shine.
