Instructions

    • 1

Cut out five squares from poster board that each measure the same width and length on all sides. If you want a larger box, make the square six inches or more on all sides. If you want a smaller box, make the square less than six inches on all sides.

    • 2

Place one of the squares flat on a table, and tape a second square upright against it using masking tape. Line up the edges, placing the second square perpendicular to the first. This will be one side of the keepsake box.

    • 3

Place a third square upright against the opposite edge as the second square, and tape it into place as before.

    • 4

Tape the other two sides onto the form as you did the first two.

    • 5

Cut out colorful and decorative pictures from magazines.

    • 6

Mix 1/4 cup of craft glue and 1/4 cup of water in a bowl. Mix well.

    • 7

Paint the outside and inside of the box with the diluted glue.

    • 8

Place the magazine cutouts onto the glue, then paint a second layer of glue over the magazine pictures. Allow the glue to dry completely before using the keepsake box.
