How to Get Rid of Dirt on the Bottom of a Pool
If you are fortunate enough to have a swimming pool in your backyard, then you know how much enjoyment it brings. However, you also know that with a pool comes many hours of maintenance over the course of a season. This labor is necessary to keep the water in the pool, as well as the liner or surface, clean. When the bottom of your pool becomes dirty, for example, you'll want to clean it right away to avoid contaminating the water. Does this Spark an idea?

Place a pool vacuum cleaner into your swimming pool and connect to a water source or the pool's circulation system, according to the owner's manual.

Move the vacuum cleaner back and forth across the bottom of your pool. Go from one side of the pool straight to the other when possible.

Overlap areas of the pool by several inches as you vacuum. This helps to ensure that the vacuum removes all dirt from the bottom.

Put on goggles and bring a wall and floor brush down to the bottom of the pool if there is stubborn, stuck-on dirt. Use the brush to scrub the dirt loose.

Get out of the pool and vacuum again to remove any remaining dirt from the bottom.
