How to Remove Pigeon Feces
Pigeons are a common sight in many cities, parks and neighborhoods. While the birds themselves pose little harm, their feces may pose a slight risk to people or pets due to bacteria. Some of the diseases that may be contracted from pigeon feces include psittacosis, histoplasmosis and cryptococcosis. Risk of disease can be eliminated by removing the pigeon feces. Put on disposable gloves, protective clothing, a breathing mask, and eye protection prior to removing the pigeon feces.

Using a garden hose or power sprayer, soak the pigeon feces with water. If you're using a power sprayer, use a low pressure to wet the area, but not force the feces to spread. Saturate the area thoroughly.

Shovel the feces into a heavy-duty plastic trash bag.

Close the trash bag tightly, and discard it in a trash can.

Wash hands and any exposed skin. Wash the clothing worn during feces removal in hot water and laundry detergent.
