How to Open a PDF With Adobe in Internet Explorer
To read portable document format, or PDF, files, you need a program designed for the task. Internet Explorer will not display a PDF unless you have a PDF reader installed on your computer. Adobe designed the PDF file format, and most people continue to use Adobe programs to create, edit and read PDF files. With Adobe Reader, you can open PDFs in Internet Explorer rather than downloading them and reading them offline.
