How to Configure Webstar Cable Modems
While most broadband cable modems automatically configure their clients upon installation, in some cases the configuration needs to be done manually. You can do this by accessing the configuration menus for TCP communications from within your Windows-based operating system on each computer -- until all the clients can connect. All of the service-side configuration settings can then be controlled by your Internet service provider -- but only after subscribing to their service and having your cable wiring connected to the municipal service.
