How to Stop Pop-Up Windows in Internet Explorer With the Yahoo Toolbar
Not many people appreciate advertising pop-up windows spontaneously appearing without permission, but an overwhelming number of websites use them. To block these nuisance windows, you can use a pop-up blocker. Although Internet Explorer has a built-in pop-up blocker, the pop-up blocker in the Yahoo! Toolbar contains more features, such as a convenient notification button and sound alerts. To have full control over the Yahoo! Toolbar's pop-up blocker, you need to enable the pop-up blocker and place a button on the toolbar.
