How to Use 3D Glasses
3D is one of the fastest-growing areas in the film, television and games industries. Most 3D systems require the viewer to wear specially designed glasses to view the 3D image. Using your 3D glasses correctly can reduce the risk of eye strain and ensure an optimal 3D viewing experience.

1
Check the 3D glasses for any dirt or marks on the lenses. Wipe the lenses in a circular motion with a clean cloth to remove the dirt.
-
2
Place the 3D glasses on your head, placing the legs of the glasses behind your ears to secure them in place. Wear the 3D glasses on top of any reading or prescription glasses you normally wear to ensure your vision is as good as possible.

3
Position yourself a comfortable distance from the 3D image source. Your eye line should align with the center of the image source as looking up or down on the 3D image will result in distortion of the image. Reposition yourself and the image source until the image is clear and well-defined.
-
4
Wear the 3D glasses throughout the duration of the 3D content. Remove your 3D glasses if you leave the 3D image source to go to the bathroom or kitchen, for example. Remove the glasses when the 3D content concludes and store them in a cool, dry place.
