How to Undo the Attachment on the Dyson Vacuum Cleaner

Dyson vacuum cleaners are available in a variety of models, sizes and features, including pet hair removal, HEPA filtration and an operating ball instead of traditional wheels to move the vacuum cleaner. Most of the vacuums include a set of attachments to clean stairs, upholstery and small places. While connecting the attachment may seem fairly straightforward, it can sometimes be more difficult to disconnect the attachment from the vacuum cleaner.

Instructions

1. Press the "Hose Release" button on the plastic connector between the hose and the attachment.

2. Hold the hose in one hand and pull up firmly on the attachment with your other hand.

3. Rotate the attachment slightly while pulling, if the attachment does not slide out easily.

4. Reconnect the hose to the main vacuum canister.
