How to Change the Animal Name in "Guild Wars"
"Guild Wars" players using "Ranger" as their character type can have pets that can assist them in battle. These pets range from black bears to giant black widow spiders, and each one has either slashing, piercing or blunt attacks. Pets are also able to draw attacks away from the player and can take significant amounts of damage. Changing the names of these pets is simple and only requires a typed command.

Press "Enter" to access the text box at the bottom of the screen.

Type "/namepet<your name here>" without the quote marks and with the chosen name of the pet in the brackets. For example, if you want the name of the pet to be "Avenger," you would type /namepet<Avenger> into the text box.

Type "/namepet" without the quotes to change the pet name back to the default name.
