How to Repair Internet Explorer Script Errors
Script errors are messages that are displayed when the script behind a program or function experiences an unexpected condition that it does not understand. If you are using Internet Explorer, there are many reasons this can happen, from a problem at the source end of the function to underlying problems within your system. For problems that originate at your end, there are a few simple ways that you can repair the error.

Choose the Tools menu in Internet Explorer and click on the selection called "Internet Options."

Click on the tab called "Advanced" and select "Disable script bugging" by clicking on the check box. Press "OK" to save the changes.

Move to the Security tab if you experience script errors on more than two Web pages. Set Security to "Default Level" and click "OK" to save the change.

Select the tab called "General" and click on "Settings" under the Temporary Internet Files section.

Choose "Delete Files" and "Delete Cookies" and confirm each action by pressing "OK" when prompted. Delete the History list, as well, under the History tab.

Install the most recent version of Internet Explorer and the latest service pack for the software. These releases often have corrections for bugs and other causes of errors.

Try visiting a different website after seeing a script error; if you have no further trouble, the error was probably on the site's end.
