How Do I Get Rid of LimeWire & FrostWire?

When an application is uninstalled, certain files can remain. Some applications may even prevent the user from uninstalling using the standard Windows Add/Remove feature. Certain applications, such as LimeWire and FrostWire, two file-sharing applications, can be completely removed with the help of a dedicated uninstallation application. These applications are available for a free download online and completely remove all traces of an installed application including registry keys and dependent files.

Instructions

      Download and install a freeware uninstallation application, such as Perfect Uninstaller or Absolute Uninstaller.

      Close LimeWire and FrostWire. Open your uninstallation application.

      Select LimeWire or FrostWire from the list of installed applications.

      Click "Uninstall."
