1
Upgrade your toothpaste to a type that aggressively whitens teeth. Such toothpastes contain abrasives that scrub away at hardened surface stains or help dissolve the protein pellicle on your teeth that the stains lock onto. Brush at least twice a day, ideally three times a day, after each meal, using an electric toothbrush.

Visit your dentist and get a mold of your teeth made for bleaching trays. Fill the trays with a solution containing 10 percent to 15 percent peroxide gel and use it from 30 minutes to two hours twice a day or all night. It depends on the strength of the gel your dentist gives you.
