How to Remove a Stuck Thunderbird Update

Click "Start," then "Control Panel."

Click "Programs," then "Programs and Features."

Click "Mozilla Thunderbird," then "Uninstall." Follow the instructions to remove the program from your computer.

Double-click the Mozilla Thunderbird installation file and complete the installation. This will install the program with fresh data and reduce the risk of error with the program. If you do not have the installer on your computer, download the latest version from the Thunderbird website (see Resources).
