How to Remove a Stuck Thunderbird Update

If you receive errors after downloading and attempting to install the most recent Mozilla Thunderbird update, you will have to remove the program and reinstall it. Mozilla Thunderbird is an open-source email client offered as a free alternative to software such as Microsoft Outlook. When you update an application, you might run into errors. This can be caused by a multitude of factors but can easily be resolved.

Instructions

1. Click "Start," then "Control Panel."

2. Click "Programs," then "Programs and Features."

3. Click "Mozilla Thunderbird," then "Uninstall." Follow the instructions to remove the program from your computer.

4. Double-click the Mozilla Thunderbird installation file and complete the installation. This will install the program with fresh data and reduce the risk of error with the program.
