Click the "Start" button.

Click "Control Panel." Select "System and Security," then "Administrative Tools" and double-click "Computer Management."

Click "Disk Management" in the left pane of the "Computer Management" screen.

Right-click the hard drive in the right pane. Left-click "Format."
