How to Remove Adobe Reader From My Macbook

The Adobe Reader application provides a platform for displaying and organizing PDF or personal document files. PDF files are commonly distributed as digital representations of a printed page. If your Adobe Reader is causing errors on your computer or you are upgrading to a newer version of the software, remove it from your computer. The Mac OS X operating system allows for a simple and straightforward uninstall process for the various programs stored on your MacBook.

Instructions

1. Click the "Spotlight" search icon in the upper right corner of the screen. The icon is a small magnifying glass.

2. Type "Adobe Reader" into the search field.

3. Click the "Adobe Reader" entry in the list of results to open a "Finder" window of the software program. Click the "Adobe Reader" folder and drag it onto the "Trash" icon.

4. Enter in the master password when prompted by the computer and click "OK." Click the "Trash" icon and click the "Empty" button to permanently remove Adobe Reader from your MacBook.
