Model year 2007 Monte Carlos were equipped with an anti-theft system that activates audible and visual warnings when unauthorized entry is detected. Once the system has been activated, it must be reset to turn off the alarms. The anti-theft system can be re-armed at any time after it has been reset.

Insert the key into the ignition.
