Check Your Minutes From the Phone

Turn on your cell phone and navigate to your dial pad.

Dial your cellular provider's direct minute check number from your cell phone. Each company has a unique number. For Verizon Wireless this number is #646. For Sprint the number is *4. For AT&T it is *646#.

Call your provider's general customer service number and follow the prompts to check your usage if you have any issues using the direct minute check numbers.

Navigate to your phone's My Account interface and select the option for usage or minutes. Only do this if you are unable to access your usage by making a phone call.

Connect to the Internet using an existing connection your already own, using a friend's connection, or by using a free Internet provider like a public library.

Navigate to your cellular provider's website.

Register for or log in to your personal account. Having an online account does not add any additional cost to your plan.
